Beyoncé Pays DC Metro $100,000 to Stay Open an Extra Hour Amid Renaissance Tour Weather Delays

In recent days, news of Beyoncé's magnanimous spirit has taken over the headlines as she has stepped in to help out her hometown of Washington DC during her Renaissance Tour Tour stop.

 As weather delays were threatening the tour's performance, the superstar offered to pay the DC Metro system $100,000 to stay open an extra hour giving the commuters a chance to safely arrive safely at their destinations.

Reminding us of the goodness of people, this generous gesture of Beyoncé went beyond the tickets she’s offered to those affected by the flooding in Houston during her 'On The Run II' Tour. She also reached out to the special-needs students of Virginia’s Chesapeake Public schools stunned them with her surprise donate of $45,000.

The Renaissance Tour, organised by Live Nation, is the biggest live tour in the US right now and has already sold 3 million tickets. Henceforth, due to the weather delay, it was only fitting that Beyoncé use her influence and power to help those in her hometown. Her aid has been unanimously praised by the citizens of D.C. and beyond.
